A “community forum” was held following a Senate meeting at the York Woods Library on January 22, 2009.
During this time, President Shoukri and a few senior administrators were present to answer questions relating to York’s “belt tightening”, Shoukri’s absence during the strike, and tuition rebates.

York Administration is wasting our time with this forced ratification. The rally at Sentinal, this last Tuesday, urged members to vote “NO” and tell the employer that we are interested in a fair deal, not a forced concessional offer!
