CHILDCARE FOR MEMBERS

The Alternative Duties Crew has created a number of options to assist members with childcare constraints, in order to free them up to picket or undertake alternate strike duties. These include creating a child-friendly space within strike headquarters as well as locating a number of spots at a registered childcare centre for members who require additional childcare at this time. A group for exchanging delicious, nutritious, low-cost recipes for precariate labour already on strike, in strike position or planning a strike and all their supporters who want to make sure they’re well-fed for walking the picket lines and pulling endless alternate duties. There will be recipe contests and people’s choice awards. You do not need to be on Facebook to access the recipes.
