Special Unit 3 Strike Committee Meeting

As we in unit 3 find our place, often new in CUPE 3903 and on this strike, it is time to perhaps pause and consider a few issues, both in order to further the strike and our understanding of this experience.  On a direct level, we have to ask ourselves if we are satisfied with our demands at this point, and how we would like to further give input to our BT, executive and brothers and sisters in units 1 and 2.  We have to ask ourselves where we could have done better, and how we can do better as we move into the home stretch.  On another level as we become concious of ourselves, as students, as workers, as student workers, we need to think of how what we do, our working conditions, can be improved after we win this strike.

Tentative Agenda Items:
1)  Forced Ratification
2)  Discussing demands.
3)  What is a GA?  Let’s try to give an overall explanation that can go into our media and interna communicatiosn discourse.
4)  Working Conditions - how to improve after the strike.
